Don't be left in a sweaty situation this summer, address any A/C concerns now

You’ve booked your stay and you’re about to head out on vacay only to realize that the air in your Mercedes-Benz seems a bit off. Is it blowing warm air, is the airflow weak, do you hear or smell something strange? These are all signs that you may potentially have an A/C problem on your hands.
Learn some of the symptoms of A/C problems and what can be done to address them before it’s too late, leaving you and your passengers in a heated (and sweaty) situation.
Weak Airflow: If the airflow doesn’t seem up to par, it could be due to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor or a blockage somewhere in the A/C system.
Warm Air: So the A/C is blowing, but it’s warm air. This may be due to low refrigerant (which you can add), a failing compressor or issues with the condenser.
Strange Odors: Musty scents from the vents may indicate mold or mildew buildup, or a dirty cabin air filter. The simple remedy is to change the air filter and try running the defrost to remove moisture buildup.
Odd Noises: Any time you hear a grinding, squealing, rattling or banging noise when the A/C is on, it may be due to a compressor problem or loose parts.
A/C Not Functioning: When you go to turn it on and it doesn’t, then there is a problem. This might be due to an electrical issue like a blown fuse or it could be more.
Water Stains/Leaks: If you notice a major puddle under your Mercedes-Benz (not the typical drops of water you see after using the A/C – which is condensation), or you see water stains inside your Mercedes-Benz, you might have a clogged drain hose.
Oily Residue: A visible refrigerant leak will present itself in an oily greenish or pinkish color under the car.
Temperature Fluctuations: Does the temperature in your Mercedes-Benz change erratically without changing the settings? If so it might be a failing thermostat or issues with the A/C control unit.
Increased Engine Temperature: When the A/C is malfunctioning, sometimes it causes the engine to overheat, so be aware of that.
