    Good news for Mercedes-Benz owners! In a recent study, Mercedes-Benz was found to have the lowest recall rate in the United States.

    The study accumulated data from 1985 to 2014, and concluded that for every 5 Mercedes-Benz vehicles sold (in the U.S.), only 2 of them were recalled, in a time span of 33 years. That's actually a pretty good rate in comparison to other automakers.

    When you flip on the morning news or scan your favorite online news site, it surely seems like there are more vehicles being recalled these days. And unfortunately, this trend is continuing.

    According to the Centre of Automotive Management (CAM), and reported by The New Zealand Herald, more than 20.5 million vehicles were recalled in the U.S. last year (BMW was the fourth highest manufacturer of vehicles on the list), which is five million more than in 2012. Most of these recalls were due to electronic malfunctions and safety glitches.
