Weak airflow, lack of heat, heater only works when driving…what the heck is going on? These are all signs that can indicate that the heater in your Mercedes-Benz is malfunctioning or about to break. Read on to find out more about these signs and more.
Weak Airflow: Blowers not blowing or are they blowing weak? This may be an issue with your blower motor, a clogged heater core or restricted air vents.
Lack of Heat: Feel cold air instead of warm air? This is a clear sign that you have a malfunctioning heater core, low coolant or a faulty thermostat.
Coolant Lake: Do you see coolant under your vehicle or smell something sweet? This may indicate a leak in the heater core and could cause a loss of heat and coolant.
Strange Noises: Hearing sounds of grinding, whining or clicking when you turn the heater on? This can point to issues with the blower motor or fan.
