We've been using Silver Star for our Mercedes needs for about 20 years now. Started with a 90 300SE and then our current E420. Peter, Jay and the guys have never given us a bum steer. We had a problem with a window regulator that they repaired for us. About a week later we had an electrical problem (unrelated) in the same door. Silver Star opened it up and repaired the problem at no charge. Peter said it was something they should have noticed while doing the regulator repair. Try getting that kind of service at a dealer!
Our 97 E420 is getting on in miles - over 250,000 now, and needing some major work due to our negligence. Jay inspected it and Peter told us that we would be much better off getting another car rather than spend the money to do all the repairs that wold be necessary. They advised against doing a set of repairs that would have netted them several thousand dollars - to help us! They are truly wonderful folks.

Took my Benz in to have front axle shafts replaced. I assumed that since Peter the owner advertises that he only uses OEM parts that is what I would get. Recently took car to diffrent shop for routine maintenance. The tech had me come to the back and with car on lift pointed out the torn leaking axle I had just paid Silverstar to replace turns out they are Chinese FPR BRAND and retail for $75 each. I will never return to Silverstar motors in Vienna va again thanks Peter looks like greed has taken priority over quality.
