Established in 1991, Burdi Motorworks is an independent Mercedes-Benz repair shop in the Chicagoland area. Owner and Senior Technician, Carmine A. Burdi, has over 35 years experience specializing in Mercedes-Benz automobiles and earlier in his career worked at several surrounding area Mercedes-Benz dealerships including: Loeber Motors, Autohaus on Edens, and Knauz. Carmine has been recognized from Mercedes-Benz of North America as a Certified Mercedes-Benz Technician.

Because Burdi Motorworks specializes in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, we are able to stay ahead of the constant changes facing the independent repair technician. We invest a considerable amount of our time and resources in training and tools specifically geared towards repairing your Mercedes-Benz.

Our value proposition is simple: Factory Trained Technicians For Less! As an independent repair shop specializing in one product, we are able to control our costs and pass the savings on to you. On average, our customers save over 40% from the dealer.

A blessing they are unto their customers! As u can see Burdi Motorworks have nothing but great testimonials and as a 25 yr old, first time foreign car owner; I must add to the gratification of this company. Carmine told me I needed my ball joints replaced ASAP, and my warranty only covered $300 of the over $600 repair. Carmine only charged me $250 for the job and I cannot thank him and his family enough!

I had a lingering problem with my engine light for months. I went to a Mercedes Benz dealership who did not pick up the fault. Carmine and his colleagues at Burdi Motors was able to diagnose the fault and changed the inexpensive part ($25) that caused the problem. On another visit when I changed brake pads and ball joints, I received a free complimentary cleaning of my foggy headlamps (the stubborn headlamp fog that will not go away) by sanding them with a machine. Overall great professional service, very knowledgeable about Mercedes Benz vehicles. This is a keeper.

Burdi Motorworks is the best. Saved me several hundred dollars on brake job and Service B on ML430 compared to going to Mercedes-Benz of Chicago or Westmont. You installed OEM parts and even had my car washed before you gave it back to me!

    Thanks Again!

I found Carmine Jr. and Sr only a year ago. I only wish I had found them sooner. I have a 2003 E class and the MB dealer was charging me a lot to do routine maintenance. Last year, Carmine saved me several hundred dollars on a brake job. Just last week, my wife needed a brake light replaced and Carmine Jr. stoped by our house on his way to pick up another car (Highland Park) and replaced it at no charge...The guys at Burdi Motorworks are awesome. Thank you Carmine!

I brought my 2006 BMW 325xi in for service at Burdi Motorworks and Carmine Jr. was great! He taught me how to use my service reminder interface on my instrument cluster. I tried to have one of the service advisors at the local BMW dealer do this and they told me to read the manual. Carmine Jr. and his father really are special at their trade. I brought my BMW to them for service and when they were done I received a comprehensive breakdown of what my car needed so I could budget through the upcoming months. Also, they even told me I had an open recall through BMW NA and that I should bring it to the dealer to get fixed. Other shops would have missed that. I will definitely be bringing all my cars to Burdi Motorworks!

I had an amazing experience with these guys at Burdi Motorworks when my 1981 300D broke down driving through Chicago. I'm sad that I don't live there because I would take my car to them every time if I could. I can't say enough good things about the whole Burdi family. Carmine sr. knows old Mercedes like the back of his hand. These are the best mechanics I have ever been to.
