  A TRUE 5-Star Operation! Mr. Rex Carle handled a unique issue with my 181,000 mile R230 Mercedes SL500 while I was driving through Downingtown, PA. I asked several local BMW and Mercedes owners; and everyone one of them only trusted one guy in town, Mr. Rex Carle!

  Rex sold me only what I needed, and worked late to get me back on the road quickly. Also, pointed out some unsafe tires, before I made a trip back to Florida. I am glad he pointed these out.

  I will highly recommend Mr. Carle and his shop to anyone! Truly an awesome, trustworthy and highly respected Technician!

  A co-worker recommended that we use Rex when we bought our BMW, but other than an oil change, the Beemer hasn't needed any work. Then we bought the Merc, and needed lots of little things done pretty quickly. Rex was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and very fair on price. One of my required repairs was over $800 at the dealership, Rex charged under $300! I won't take my cars to anyone else!

  This was the first time to use this shop. I needed service A done on my C-class and that is all I requested, even though other minor issues were found during this service and I declined any repairs. However, you can imagine my shock to get a $400 bill!!! For an oil change!! Further perusal of the detailed bill showed it took 2.5 hours @ $92/ hr to change the oil, oil filter, brake fluid, air cabin filter and "check the whole car out"...?! Never going back! Never!!!

  I have been taking my CLK to Rex since I bought it in '05. I can't say enough about how good they are to work with. I have full trust and confidence in Rex and his team. Absolutely the very best service possible!

  The staff is professional and show a real passion for taking care of Mercedes and BMW's. With older cares you will find issues that may require attention, but Rex and team will always advise whether the repair is necessary or it can wait to later. They are meticulous in their care of my auto and always keeps the owner well informed and happy.

  We've been bringing our 99 5 Series to Rex for 4 years. Rex runs a professional shop. His staff is courteous. He has been helpful in making decisions about when and where to spend, and not to spend money. I have recommended Rex to many people and will continue to do so.

  We have been using Rex since the late 80's and have always found his work to be very professional . He has never done work which we don't authorize and keeps our older cars running beautifully. Wouldn't trust our cars to anyone else.

  Rex Carl automotive has been my sole repair center for the past 10 years. I have also referred a number of friends and associates to them. Rates are very reasonable and their knowledge of these vehicles saves you a great deal on diagnostics costs. They always explain in detail, any work that is to be done and only do the work that is necessary. I have tried every independent Benz / BMW repair shop in the area and Rex Carls has proven to be the best in all areas. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

  Over the past 20 years, Rex Carle Automotive has serviced my 6 cars (4 MB's, 1 BMW, and 1 Smart Car). Total number of miles driven so far: 1,108,000 and still counting. I drive a significant amount and depend on Rex to keep the cars running.

  I also trust Rex and his staff to ensure my cars are well maintained. I also find he only performs the work requested (or what is required), is direct and honest with his prices.

  My family and I met Rex Carle in 1980. He has assisted us with purchasing vehicles, has maintained our vehicles and will continue to do so.

  I trust Rex and his staff. It is their superior, definitve, diagnostic skill level that sets REX CARLE AUTOMOTIVE above everyone else. I have NEVER found him to be dishonest. I have never found him to do EXCESSIVE repairs. His shop is meticulous. I have witnessed individuals bring their vehicles to be repaired and did not think through the cost of repair and maintaining their vehicle. If you have purchased a Benz, especially a diesel, and a 400 or > series, please, know that you have made an investment purchase. I highly recommend it be serviced by REX CARLE AUTOMOTIVE, ONLY.

  Reasonable hourly rate but very dishonest mechanics. They always tend to do more work than you agree to have done and charge you excessively for those additional repairs. Very disorganized shop and work area. Understaffed. I have spent thousands there and have never felt satisfied. I found Radbill Foreign Auto in West Chester and would highly reccomend them over Rex any day.
