    I was making a cross-country trip when my voltage regulator went out. I called numerous shops in various cities along my route looking for someone who could get the part in a timely manner, but no luck. I finally called Central Star Motors in OKC and they said they could get the part and that I could come in at 8am the next morning. I was still several hours away, so I drove as far as I could before my battery was so drained that I had no lights. I checked into a motel, put my battery on a charger and got a few hours sleep. Got up before the sun and made it to OKC by 8:00. When I got to Central Star, the wrong part had been delivered. The owner came in and heard what had happened, he took one look at my car, stepped away for a minute and returned with a Bosch voltage regulator! Turns out he had one on a back shelf. They installed it right away and 15-minutes later I was back on the road. I really appreciate the team at Central Star Motors taking such good care of me. I would absolutely recommend them to any fellow classic Mercedes enthusiast.
