I have owned my 27-year old 1989 560 SL for two years. Over the first year I struggled to find a competent mechanic to work on my roadster; using mechanics who installed parts backwards and who billed without curing the issues and in fact creating more problems. That ended when I took my 560 SL to Stuttgart Autohaus for the services of Bob and Damion Diehl. I have had the car in three times in the last 12-months. They first addressed a transmission issue with leaks. Successful. with an overview of the other problems the car had. Then they addressed the engine idle and replacement of engine mounts. My last trip Bob installed a new radiator and went completely through the front and rear end suspensions including ball joints, bushings and shock absorbers, new disc rotors and brakes. After installing a new fuel injection jet, and doing the engine mounts, front and rear end bushings and shocks, my 560 SL drives like a new car. Bob and Damion did a great job and they have ordered parts to address some problems with my seats, my door windows and some other interior repairs. Thank you Bob and Damion Diehl. I recommend your shop with total confidence in your ability to handle any problems.
