I do repair service and maintain previous and vintage model Mercedes as well as some non-computerized contemporary Mercedes automobiles.
I am a dealership trained Star Mercedes Technician. My position at the dealership was gasoline and diesel engine overhaul and I was also the diesel fuel injection technician.
I service both gasoline and diesel fuel injection on the previous models. I have been doing Mercedes work since 1968 and in my own business since 1976. I am very familiar with the previous models.
I worked for the Mercedes Dealership, Stephen Imports, then located at 2001 St. Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130 from 1968 until 1976 when Tom Benson purchased the dealership and moved it to Metairie, LA. The previous location was remodeled and became Copland's Cheesecake Bistro.
I also do brakes, front end work, tune up, and Mercedes specific repairs such as the vacuum engine shut off system, vacuum door locking system, air conditioning et al. So I am an old hand when it comes to repairing Mercedes and over the years I have developed many Mercedes specific contacts to help save you money on Mercedes parts. Some used parts available for older models.
I am currently located at 1818 Carondelet St. New Orleans LA. 70130 where I have been since 1980.
My location is directly behind the St. Charles Ave Walgreen's drug store on Carondelet St at St. Mary Street. Turn away from the river onto St. Mary Street. from St.Charles Avenue at Walgreen's.
