These people at Autobahn were professional, kind, and knew what they were doing. My C230 broke down in Elizabeth town, about 40 miles south of Louisville. I spent the night at a motel with my family. In the morning I called everybody in Elizabethtown and Louisville who services foreign cars, and mercedes in particular. It was Friday before the New Year weekend. Everybody told me to wait until Tuesday. But when Autobahn heard my predicament they told me that they were quite busy, but they would do their best at least to diagnose the problem. They had a tower set up--cheapest rates I could find anywhere. I had the car towed to their shop. Autobahn arranged for Enterprise to bring a rental car to their shop, rented a mid-size and drove off to our destination. In the evening they called to tell us that had diagnosed the problem and the issues with speed sensors was not as bad as they had feared. They fixed the car and told me to come and pick it up the following day. That was a day off for them but they came to the shop to give me back my car. They showed me the part they replaced and gave me a big discount as 1st time customer. The manager noticed my washer fluid was running almost empty, got a new gallon+ bottle of fluid and poured it all into my car--without charge. They said that they go out of their way to help especially people who are stranded on the road. They specialize in all models of MBenzes, like the 600 Model I saw in their shop. My car rode very smoothly after their repair.

My first Mercedes problem and I thought it would cost me plenty. But my first experience was very pleasant. I explain my problem and was told what would more then likely it would be, and he was right.

I found that they were very friendly, very knowledgeable and quick to repair. That held down the cost. It feels very reasuring to have someone not to take advantage of you.

These guys know Mercedes! They know the traits each model has, and know the proper factory-approved fix for them. The big difference is that they charge a whole lot less for the same work!

Whatever Mercedes you have, they will know it and will be able to fix it! Don't trust a 'general' mechanic to do work on your Mercedes. Trust the experts.
